Above the Clouds: My Runaway Lover

The Fighter Who Stole My Heart

Jeff, a poor but tenacious university student, is determined to become a top-tier NNA fighting athlete—to fulfill his late father's dying wish and earn money for medical bills. In the pivotal promotion match, he comes up against the arrogant, maxed-out rich kid David. Jeff's untamed wildness—he'd even break his own arm to keep fighting—captivates David. After Jeff enters university and joins David's club by chance, their relationship heats up through a series of misunderstandings. After David is stripped of his captaincy and Jeff returns healed from injury, Jeff signs the "high-paying sparring contract" David had set up, falling into the relentless, pressuring pursuit of the domineering David. The two test each other through repeated blood-boiling fights and intensely aggressive flirtation—until finally, David's flashy kiss on the VIP spectator seats is broadcast on live television. Enraged, Jeff's sister forcibly transfers him to another school and takes him away. Facing an empty dorm room, a David who has completely lost Jeff descends into madness, determined to win back his true love by any means necessary.
